What about home schooling?

Most children will attend a school for the majority of their education, but some parents are turning to home schooling as a viable option.

Home schooling is where your child is taught out of a classroom. It may be that you teach your child from home or that you have a private tutor come to you and teach them. There are pros and cons to home schooling each of which should be looked in to before deciding if it is suitable for you and your child.

Some children are home schooled as there family moves around a lot and therefore it wouldn’t be suitable for them to be put in to schools, others may require additional help or support that the parents may feel they are not getting from schools.

Many teachers are against school homing but that’s not to say it doesn’t work for many people whose children continue on to get a good career and have a good level of understanding.
